Ophcrack_office
This unique program cracks Word and Excel documents using rainbow tables. It cracks the default encryption technique (the one compatible with Office '97) of these documents within a few minutes. The use of ophcrack_office is very simple and its success rate is 99.6%.

Ophcrack
Ophcrack is the most efficient Windows password cracker on the market. It is based on rainbow tables.
Ophcrack basic is distributed as free and open software (see below). The professional version comes as a set of 8Gb rainbow tables on two DVDs. One DVD is used for cracking LM hashes and the other for NT hashes. NT hashes need to be cracked when the weaker LM hash has been disabled. This is usually done for security reasons and is the default setting for Windows Vista.
Our set of two DVDs can crack the hashes of following passwords:
LM hashes: 96% of passwords of length 1 to 14 made of the following characters:

- Ophcrack basic is licensed under the GPL by Objectif Sécurité and can be downloaded from sourceforge with the 380Mb tables needed for LMHashes of alphanumerical passwords (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) ONLY.
- The ophcrack basic LiveCD can be downloaded for free from the same source. Just boot a PC using LiveCD to have ophcrack launch automatically and break all available alphanumerical passwords (or if you purchase our professional DVD set you get the expanded tables).
